EVE calls for more support for culture and sports

Small cultural organizations and sports providers in Eindhoven are increasingly under pressure.

Many are struggling to stay financially afloat and are also facing a shortage of volunteers. That’s why EVE submitted an amendment to the city budget to offer them financial support.

Unfortunately, the proposal did not gain a majority, despite broad recognition in the Council that additional support is urgently needed. EVE will continue to advocate for this cause in the coming months, keeping the issue on the agenda, working together toward a stronger and more resilient Eindhoven.
